Love Lodi 2019 is almost here.  There are still lots of ways for you to get involved in helping to make Lodi a better and cleaner place to live.

The event happens Saturday, April 13, 2019. Love Lodi 2019 will begin at 9:00 am at Hutchins Street Square.  After the rally, volunteers will disperse to their project sites.  Once the projects are complete, volunteers are invited to return to Hutchins Street Square for a free lunch at the Love Lodi Community Picnic.

Giving back to the community leads to multiple benefits.  You’re not only giving to the community—you’re increasing your professionalism.

Don’t wait!  Sign up today.

“Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Charitable acts are performed without the expectation of direct financial gain, but they certainly are not without their own rewards. Investing in your community is a great way to give back to those who have helped and supported you.  Volunteer groups and non-profits organizations do so much to help the communities that we are all a part of, but they can’t do it alone.

Many people really enjoy the intangible benefits of giving.  Giving back to the community gives you pleasant feeling of connectedness and the satisfaction that at least you are trying to make the world a better place, not to mention building a better place to live for you, your family and everyone else who is a part of your community.

Investing in the community is good for your business. It builds respect and a good reputation in the community. Supporting charities and attending charitable and volunteer events is an excellent way to network and make new connections by meeting new people and developing relationships with complementary businesses.

Giving something to the community doesn’t mean you have to spend all your free time on it either. So, what are some things you can contribute yourself?
